The workshop commences on the evening of the Thursday the 20th of
November concluding late in the afternoon on Saturday the 22nd,
2008.
NeuroEng 2008 aims to bring together researchers in Australia who
are working at the interface between neuroscience and engineering,
including researchers working in mathematical and computational
neuroscience, neural modelling, neuro-imaging, EEG analysis,
neuro-morphic engineering, and neuro-prostheses.
NeuroEng 2008 is the third in the series to be held in Australia
(previous Workshops in this series were held in Queensland in 2006
and Adelaide in 2007). It follows the Conference in Medical
Bionics - a new paradigm for human health, to be held 16-19th
November 2008 at Lorne, Victoria, Australia. (http://www.medicalbionics.consec.com.au/)

NeuroEng 2008 will be held at the University of Melbourne
(opposite University Square) located in Parkville, the vibrant
inner the city suburb of Melbourne. The venue overlooks the
picturesque city sky-line and university campus, with just a short
walk to cafes, restaurants and bars in Melbourne's famous Lygon
St. precinct.

oral or poster presentation. Please refer to the abstract
guidelines provided below.

Submit the .pdf version of your abstract by email.
Submission is due by 19/09/08, and presenters will be notified
by 17th October.

Welcome reception (and registration) will be held on Thursday on the
20th Nov. from 17:00-19:00 at Graduate House. The venue is located by
the Woodward centre on the University campus (on University Square). A
workshop dinner will be held on Friday 21st Nov. from 19:00 onwards at
University House in the heart of the University campus.
